
Now that the school year has begun, the Cruces Creatives team would like to inform all teachers and community members about their Community Share program, which allows teachers to receive mini grants of up to $500.00 per class! This initiative aims to enhance students' education by facilitating connections with community members to collaborate on meaningful projects. Students have had the chance to work with various professionals from chefs and food truck owners to senators and artists.

At the State FFA Agriculture Community Competition, teams develop and present a comprehensive development plan from an agricultural topic.
Participants are judged by their ability to effectively convey their message through various communication channels including print, digital, and oral presentation.
We are thrilled to recognize the team from LCHS, Zia Miller, Jaden Miller, Lily Martinez and Paisley Anderson for winning 1st place in the FFA Agriculture Community Competition.

We would like to acknowledge the achievements in the FFA Agriscience Fair. This competitive event allows FFA members to display their Agriscience research projects, participants conduct experiments in various agriculture fields and present their findings through displays and presentations at local, state, and national levels.
We are proud of Lacey Knight from LCHS for winning first place at state during the FFA Agriscience Fair. She will head to Indianapolis in October to compete at Nationals. We are also recognizing Lacey for her exceptional work in the FFA scrapbook competition.

Cruces Creatives invites LCPS students ages 10 through 15 to join a FREE workshop where students have the opportunity to work with resin and acrylic paint to create three dimensional paintings! This class will take place at Cruces Creatives on August 24th.
