Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students. Since this is an NMAA sanctioned event, tickets can only be purchased online by scanning the QR Code.

On Nov. 9, the district will host “High Schools’ Got Talent,” as part of the ‘Kindness in the Community” initiative. The event is free and open to the public. Just remember to bring your own chair!
The evening will include performances from each high school band beginning at 5:30p.m. at Plaza de Las Cruces located at 100 N Main St, Las Cruces, NM 88001.

Last night, LCPS families were invited to the Superintendent's meet and greet to discuss his 90-day plan, educational goals, and concerns. The meeting was held in Spanish, more than 35 parents attended.

The 1st round of the Boys' 5A State Soccer Tournament starts tomorrow. Be there to cheer on Organ Mountain High School as they take on Rio Grande High School at 5pm at the Field of Dreams Soccer Complex. This is an NMAA sanctioned event. Tickets are $5, cash only at the gate.
Last week, all four comprehensive high schools did a wonderful job dazzling the crowd with their field show performances during the 2023 Marching Band Exhibition at the Field of Dreams. After the last performance, the seniors for the class of 2024 were recognized.

Dear parents and guardians, several schools at LCPS have gone into a shelter-in-place due to lightning detected within 10 miles of our schools. Upon the occurrence of lightning at dismissal time, students who drive may be released based on principal’s discretion. All bus riders and walkers will be sheltered until the area is deemed safe. If you are picking up your child while a school is sheltering in place due to weather, you may do so at your own risk.

Congratulations to Zavier Udero, our LCPS Student Athlete of the Week from LCHS. Zavier is on the football team. He has 29 tackles, 35 assists, 8 defended passes and 4 fumble recoveries. Zavier is dedicated, leads his team by example and is relentless in pursing his goals.
Congratulations to Mercedes Willis, our LCPS Student Athlete of the Week from LCHS. Mercedes is the on the Volleyball team. She has 28 kills, a hitting percentage of .339 and leads her team in blocks. She’s a hard worker, self-motivated and spends all her time on the court.
