About the Auction

The Las Cruces Home Builders Association is super excited to announce the Second Annual Online Auction. This online auction will benefit the LCHBA Education Account. This education account will offer scholarships for local high school students who are looking to pursue a college degree in trades. So many of our youth struggle with direction, college debt and access to quality training. Yet the residential and construction market continues to face a chronic shortage of skilled employees at all job levels and we want to help!

About Las Cruces Home Builders Association

As the voice of the building industry, the Las Cruces Home Builders Association seeks to support the community and local businesses by providing educational opportunities, advocating for the regulations that benefit a strong housing market, and ensuring members are provided the resources they need to continue improving quality of life in Las Cruces. The goal is to once again award four (4) scholarships to four (4) local seniors who are pursuing trades at DACC or NMSU in the amount of $750 each.

Scholarship Evaluation

The Las Cruces Home Builders Associations (LCHBA) Education Committee and Executive Officer will review and choose selected students with all completed packets in first round. The LCHBA Board of Directors will then review in second round. Once approved by the LCHBA Board of Directors, students, and their school counselor will be notified by the email provided from the LCHBA Executive Officer, Nicole Black, no later April 29th.
