Synopsis:

Wrestling: Synopsis of Sport: LCHS Wrestling is a great individual sport but it requires a lot of teamwork! The goal is for the kids to get the best out of their time out of the program and learn new skills. We offer girls and boys wrestling through NMAA. As well as focusing on the community through community service throughout the year. The team constantly is either district runner ups or champs, and reigns victorious among other schools. This program has a long history of success when it comes to the state tournament.

The state offers 14 different weight classes for boys, and 10 for girls, where only one weight competes against the other. LCHS is striving to fill all of the weight classes for both genders. The head and assistant coach have been affiliated with Las Cruces High School for 30 years. Everyone is welcome, and practice takes place in the wrestling room off of the aux gym.

Level of play: C, JV, and varsity for boys. For girls JV and varsity
